Jacob and Julia's birthdays have already passed this year! I can't believe how much they have grown in one year. Julia is now 4 years old and Jacob is 6 years old.
Julia's birthday was celebrated at our local YMCA for a gymnastics party. She loves gymnastics so this was a reasonable option for a party. All her friends from China playgroup came and a few friends from preschool were there as well. She had such a good time...she talked about it for weeks later.
Jacob just turned 6 and we chose to have a quiet party at home with family. He was very excited...just like Christmas. He is so funny...it's like he's a king for a day! (He deserves it, he's a great kid.) He just can' t control himself when he has a birthday or any special event. It's so exciting to get presents and be the center of attention!
